If you really think that power should be held in the hands of the elite, that the government has no responsibility for the welfare of its citizens, and that "life is tough" is a good reason to screw people over, then you are going to be disappointed. A lot.
The Kids Are Alright
Last week, Idaho State University president Arthur Vailas and the Rethuglican-infested Idaho State Board of Education chose to suspend the ISU Faculty Senate for the crime of overwhelmingly voting no-confidence against Vailas. Today, students at ISU came out in force to protest Vailas and the SBOE, and show their support for the faculty.
And the part where the protesters started singing the Emperor's March from Star Wars was pretty cool, too.
