My take

This "smear machine" scares me big time. Right now, it seems we are at the stage of acknowledging its existence. We need to move, as a movement of supporters, into action, instead of waiting to see how Obama responds. We have our candidate, we must start protecting him from sladerous racists attacks so he can focus on his real message.
