I always find it funny when Little Adam tries to chide me for some slight.

I dug through the State legislative voting records to find Conservative votes and found how members voted on those issues and produced a scorecard. The only thing one can argue is arbitrary is the choice of votes used for the scorecard. It seems like Binky Boy didn’t even find out how it was put together.

It was put together based on how Little Adam feels a conservative should vote. The next person to come along and attempt to recreate the numbers in that scorecard would come up with completely different numbers, and so on and so forth. There is no point to these scorecards. The "most liberal" or the "most conservative" is an independent designation that each person needs to determine for themselves, not use some dumbass arbitrary number.

As well, Little Adam attempts to break down an incredibly complex issue into a black and white vote. A vote for or against a bill is not black and white, it is based on many things, and each legislator has reasons to vote for certain bills and against others that have nothing to do (sometimes) with their personal politics.

I think Liberals can use the Conservative scorecard in the same way to find who they like and who they don’t. If you’re a liberal, you’ll like somebody with a 14% rating like Sayler or a 0% rating like Shirley Ringo or Nicole LeFavour. You’ll not be big fans of Marv Hagedorn, Rick Harwood, or maybe even Mary Lou Shepherd who have more conservative records. So, if you’re a liberal, read the scoreboard and think, “Lower is better.”

How about we put out a scorecard on the most intelligent members of the Idaho Legislature? Oh look, most of the conservatives are on the bottom, so just like Little Adam says, lower scores would be better for him!
