Don't tell me you're a Christian. Let me figure it out for myself.
Slow blogging during the Convention
I had hoped to post a lot more on the Idaho Democratic Party State Convention, but due to working the covention I haven't had very much time to blog. The slow-as-molassas wireless internet connection here at the hotel doesn't improve the situation, either. I've taken dozens of digital photos, and will try to get them up here next week as I find time.
As soon as I can get ahold of a copy of the final platform I'll get it posted here on the site.
Right now, they're still hammering out the platform, and hope to be completely finished by 5PM. The banquet tonight begins at 7:30PM, and there are so many delegates here at the convention that they can't hold them all in the ballroom. They're going to open up an overflow room to try and hold the rest.
To see this many enthusiastic Idaho Democrats in one location is truly amazing and wonderful. These are the folks who are going to turn our state around and put it back on the right track.

Actually, we got the platform
Actually, we got the platform done by 3 pm, just minutes after we were told that if we didn't, we'd have to come back at 10:30 pm to finish it. Imagine that. :-)
Here's an article about the platform meeting, which I only partially mention because I got quoted in it. :-) I am also happy to point out that two of the three delegates quoted are from the Progressive Caucus.
