Glenn Beck mocks victims of California's fires

Glenn Beck has a reprehensible past, but he truly crossed a line today:

We all love America. We just disagree on how we should function, what we should do, big government, small government. It doesn't mean you hate America. I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today.

That is grotesque. Parlaying a bad stereotype (California = Liberal = hates America) into mocking Americans that are losing their homes even as he said that. For an avowed Mormon, he's toting a singularly despicable and unchristian soul.

The Idaho Republican Party invited Beck as Guest of Honor for a major summer fundraiser:
folks lined up to meet the talk show and radio host.

Fan after fan rolled in for the fundraiser, ranging from Lt. Governor Jim Risch, to state senators like Mel Richardson.

"The man has a message and I am so impressed by what he's doing," says Richardson.

Since Idaho Republicans praised Beck then, every high-ranking Republican needs to be raked over the coals until they repudiate and call for this SOB's firing from CNN. As a reminder, Howard Dean's visit earned a scornful rant from Idaho GOP head Kirk Sullivan:

“Howard Dean may only be spending a few hours in Idaho today, but he is certainly bringing a large load of political baggage with him... Dean himself has a history of liberal rhetoric that is out of touch with voters in this state.

Glenn Beck... he came, he saw, he sullied everything and everyone he came in contact with. And there'll be nothing but crickets from the state GOP. After all, IOKIYAR.

Beck's a Mormon?

And this is who the State Republicans want to emulate? Ann Coulter and now this hatemonger. C'mon Idahoans. You want to be associated with this racist bastard?
