Difficult

It's hard to support someone that is barely able to get name recognition in Idaho or many other states. There is a less than 2% chance that Richardson will win the primary.

I do like the guy, don't get me wrong. Right now, however, I'd like to get rid of the chaff that is nipping at the heels of the big three and focus instead on messages that will resonate with all of America, not bitter infighting and backstabbing.

chaff, big 3 and 17 *MONTHS*

Screw Sesame Street's "One of these things..."; *TWO* of those things don't belong next to the other.

I was perfectly happy with a stageful of democrats a few years ago: it let the outliers speak frankly enough to make the front-runners' caution embarrasing at times.

If we can't eliminate a primary system that'll have the Democratic nominee picked by February (ga-aah!, ick, eeew), at least lets have a broad range of choices now.

Broad Range

But what broad range are we really getting? The MSM only tells people about the big 3, about their platform and the debate summaries focus entirely on the big 3.

I do believe that the others bring in great ideas, but the messages just aren't going to get out to the regular voting public.

Caucus

You guys do realize that we have a caucus on 5 February which picks the Democratic presidential winner in Idaho, right? The May primary is window dressing at best.
